We make U.S. recall data searchable and accessible for consumers and businesses. Our database pulls from official government sources and updates hourly.
Government recall databases exist, but they can be difficult to search and navigate. We built IsMyProductRecalled to solve that problem — providing a fast, unified search across FDA, USDA, CPSC, and NHTSA data so you can quickly check if products in your home are affected.
All recall information on this site comes directly from official government sources:
Food and Drug Administration. Food, drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics recalls.
Official FDA SourceFood Safety and Inspection Service. Meat, poultry, and processed egg products.
Official USDA SourceConsumer Product Safety Commission. Toys, electronics, furniture, and other consumer products.
Official CPSC SourceNational Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Vehicles, tires, child car seats, and equipment.
Official NHTSA SourceOur database does not include every product recall. We aggregate data from select government sources, but not all product categories are covered. Coverage may change over time as we expand or adjust our data sources.
For vehicle-specific recalls, we recommend verifying with NHTSA.gov using your VIN for the most accurate results.
A search returning no results does not mean a product is safe. Always verify with official government sources if you have safety concerns.
Accuracy is critical for a safety-focused site. We follow these principles:
IsMyProductRecalled.com is an independent, privately-operated website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, operated by, or part of the U.S. government, FDA, USDA, CPSC, NHTSA, or any other federal, state, or local government agency.
We do not issue recalls. Only government agencies and manufacturers can issue product recalls. This site aggregates and displays publicly available recall information for convenience only.
Information on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as medical, legal, or professional safety advice. If you have consumed a recalled food product and are experiencing symptoms, contact your healthcare provider or call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
