AM EQUIPMENT 102-1095 Equipment Recall: VISIBILITY/WIPER

AM Equipment (AME) is recalling certain Windshield Wiper System Part No. 102-1095 manufactured February 5, 2013 to July 22, 2013. The pivot shaft may loosen allowing the wiper to disengage from the vehicle during operation.

Portable Generators (Champion Power) – Fire Risk (2012)

This recall involves two models of Champion Power Equipment portable generators. Both models have a black frame with black and yellow control panels, a bar handle and two wheels. Model number 41332 has an open frame. The words "Champion Power Equipment" are on the control panel and "8250 starting watts" and "6500 running watts" are on the side of the fuel tank. Model number 41532 has side panels that cover the long sides of the fuel tank. The words "Champion Power Equipment" are on the side panel above the control panel, and "9000 starting watts" and "7000 running watts" are on the control panel. The model number and serial number are located on the side of the generator with the handle, on a tag on the crossbar above the yellow generator end cap. Avalung Backpacks (Black Diamond) – Suffocation Risk (2011)

This recall involves the following Black Diamond 2010 Avalung backpacks (see chart below). These backpacks have an air intake system that the company states extracts air from the snow, allowing the victim of an avalanche to breathe while buried under the snow. The model name and color are printed on the side of the backpack. The PO number is printed on a white label inside the backpack. The recalled batteries are found in Black Diamond Soliras headlamps. The batteries have the following dates, which can be found on the battery label: 0703, 0803, 0903, 1003, 1103, 1203, 0104, 0204, 0304, 0404, and 0504. The black headlamp has the words and symbol for the company on the light.
