DiamondBack Automotive Accessories, Inc (DiamondBack) is recalling certain Switchback truck bed covers designed for 2015-2024 Ford F-150, 2017-2024 Ford Super Duty F-250 F-350, and F-450 vehicles as an aftermarket accessory. The cap clamps included with the cover may loosen over time, allowing the cover to detach during transit.
DiamondBack Automotive Accessories, Inc (Diamondback) is recalling certain DiamondBack HD and SE three-panel hard tonneau truck bed covers produced between March 28, 2018 and March 1, 2019. If the front panel section is not properly secured and locked, the front portion of the cover assembly could lift and separate from the truck bed while the vehicle is being driven.
HARLEY DAVIDSON IS RECALLING ACCESSORY BRAKE LINE KITS SOLD FOR INSTALLATION ON CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 1996-2012 DYNA AND CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 1999-2012 SOFTAIL MOTORCYCLES. DUE TO MANUFACTURING AND INSTALLATION CONDITIONS THESE ACCESSORY BRAKE LINE KITS MAY LEAK.

CPSC, Sachs Bicycle Components Announce Recall of Bicycles WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sachs Bicycle Components of Anaheim, Calif., recalled about 16,500 Diamondback mountain bikes to replace their chains. The chain can break, causing a rider to lose control of the bicycle, fall and be injured. CPSC, Sachs Bicycle Components and Diamondback have received about 75 reports of chains breaking, resulting in 4 injuries, including a broken arm, cuts and bruises. Only 1998 model Diamondback bicycles with the following model names could be equipped with these chains: Sherwood, Lakeside, Interval, Expert, Voyager I, Voyager II, Sorrento, Sorrento SE and Wildwood DX. If consumers own one of these bicycles, purchased between July 1, 1997, and November 8, 1997, they should have the chain checked. Diamondback Authorized Dealers nationwide sold these bicycles from July 1997 to November 1997 for about $300 to $600. Consumers should stop using these bicycles immediately and call SRAM Corp., which purchased Sachs Bicycle Components, at (800) 346-2928. SRAM Corp. will honor the recall and replace any defective chains.
OCTOBER 2, 1991 Release # 92-002 Nationmark Inc. Recalls 8 Shot Cap Guns WASHINGTON, DC -- In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Nationmark Inc. of Carrollton, TX is voluntarily recalling their "8 SHOT CAP GUNS," model number 706. These cap guns could emit sparks which may cause serious burns to users or bystanders. Nationmark distributed approximately 54,000 of these cap guns to food and drug chains in the southwestern United States from May 1988 to August 1991. There are two styles of 8 SHOT CAP GUNS. One gun is orange plastic with the words "8 SHOTS" and "DETECTIVE SPECIAL." The other gun is black, red and brown plastic and has the words "BIG BANG-38," "8 SHOOTER," "MADE IN CHINA" and "DIAMONDBACK." They were sold in hanging plastic blister card packages for approximately $1.50 each. The firm, when reporting this recall to the CPSC, said they are aware of one burn injury, to an adult. This happened last month and is the only known injury since the initial marketing of the product in 1988. Nationmark Inc. is voluntarily recalling this item to prevent any additional injuries. Consumers who own the 8 SHOT CAP GUN should discontinue use and return the cap gun to the store where purchased for a refund of the purchase price. Consumers may also return the cap guns to Nationmark Inc., 1270 Champion Circle, Carrollton, Texas 75006 for a full refund.
