Trident UV Pool Sanitation Systems – fire hazard (2014)

This recall involves all Trident Series 2 ultraviolet sanitation systems for pools. The sanitation systems are a gray tube that stands 32 inches high by 11 inches in diameter. They are plumbed into the pool's water circulation pipes and plugged in or hard-wired into an electrical system. The pool's water runs through the unit and is sanitized by ultraviolet lamps. This is a secondary sanitation system used in conjunction with chemical sanitizers such as chlorine or bromine. "Trident Ultraviolet Corporation," "Series 2" and "UV Ultraviolet Sanitation System" are printed on a black label on the front of the units. "Trident Series 2 Ultraviolet Water Treatment System" and a series of letters for the date code are printed on a silver sticker on the units. This recall involves Commercial Electric brand basic hanging shop lights that use two, 48-inch, two-pin, T8, fluorescent lamps. The recalled shop light is a metal light fixture with four plastic lamp sockets and a white finish. It is 48 inches long, 4.25 inches wide and 2.5 inches high and has two 10.5-inch long chains for hanging. The lamp sockets must be snapped into place during installation. Model number CESL401-06 and SKU number 201-462 are printed on a white label on the top of the fixture.

Portable Bed Handles (Bed Handles Inc) – Entrapment Risk (2014)

The recall involves adult portable bed handles that do not have safety retention straps to secure the bed handle to the bed frame to keep the bed handle from shifting out of place and creating a dangerous gap. Recalled models include the Original Bedside Assistant® (BA10W), the Travel Handles™ (BA11W) which is sold as a set of two bed handles, and the Adjustable Bedside Assistant® (AJ1). The L-shaped bed handles are made out of ¾ inch tubular steel, measure 20 inches wide, 16 to 20 inches tall and have 3 ft. poles that extend under the mattress. The Original Bedside Assistant® (BA10W) and the Travel Handles™ (BA11W) have a white handle with white poles that go under the mattress. The Adjustable Bedside Assistant® (AJ1) is gold in color and has a black cushioned foam handle. The bed handles are intended to assist adults with getting in and out of bed by giving them a bar to grip. Bed Handles Inc. and the model number are printed on a white label on the bed handles.

They have a clear plastic cylinder to hold water, blue base and top and a nylon carrying strap attached to the top. The cylinder measures between 1.25 and 1.5 inches in diameter. A horizontal line with the word "fill" is printed on the cylinder.
