VT Hackney, Inc. (VT Hackney) is recalling certain 2017-2018 emergency vehicles equipped with Whelen brake lights. Depending on the specific wiring of the vehicle, these brake lights may illuminate when the brake pedal has not been pressed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
This recall involves Air King Valencia wall-mounted range hoods in 30 and 36 inch widths. The Range hoods are approximately 18 inches high without the vertical exhaust duct cover. The affected range hoods are sold in the following finishes: stainless steel, white and black. The Air King name is located on the motor housing behind the removable grease filters. This recall only includes VAL and ESVAL series hoods. This recall involves Mobile Warming Performance Heated Socks sold with lithium-ion batteries. Only socks with serial number MW18A04-17-14, MW18A04-17-15, MW18A04-M4-10/W6-11 and MW18A04-M10-14 are included in the recall. These socks are gray and made of a poly-cotton blend in men's and women's size 6-10 and 10-14. The socks heat when the battery is connected and is in the on position. The heating on/off is controlled through the battery switch or the phone app when a phone is paired.
