OSRAM SEALED BEAM HEADLAMP Equipment Recall: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS

Osram Sylvania Products, Inc. (Osram) is recalling certain Sealed Beam Headlamps manufactured from February 3, 2014, through June 19, 2015, with Part Number H5006, that fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." The affected headlamps may not meet the minimum intensity requirements.

(Osram) is recalling certain Sealed Beam Headlamps manufactured from February 3, 2014, through June 19, 2015, with Part Numbers H5001, that fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." The affected headlamps may not meet the minimum intensity requirements.

Hydraulic Bicycle Brakes (SRAM) – injury risk (2014)

The recalled bicycle brake models include SB Red Hydraulic Road Disc, SB Red Hydraulic Road Rim, SB 700 Hydraulic Road Disc and SB 700 Hydraulic Road Rim, used as either front or rear brakes. The SB RED brake lever is labeled "RED" on the body of the lever assembly. The SB 700 brake lever is labeled "S-Series" on the body of the lever assembly. The serial numbers for the recalled brakes have the digit "3" as the fourth digit of the serial number. The serial number can be found on the bottom of the caliper body. Bicycle Derailleurs (SRAM) – fall hazard (2013)

The SRAM RED WiFLi Rear Derailleur is a device that moves a bicycle chain gears on the rear wheel. The name SRAM RED and the serial number of the derailleur are located on the back of the inner pulley wheel cage plate and visible when looking thru the spokes of the bicycle wheel. Serial numbers of affected products begin with one of the following four-digit codes: 31T2 37T2 43T2 49T2 03T3 09T3 32T2 38T2 44T2 50T2 04T3 10T3 33T2 39T2 45T2 51T2 05T3 11T3 34T2 40T2 46T2 52T2 06T3 35T2 41T2 47T2 01T3 07T3 36T2 42T2 78T2 02T3 08T3 The recalled derailleurs manufacturing dates are September 2012 through March 2013.

Bicycle Chains (SRAM) – Fall Hazard (2009)

The recall involves SRAM PowerLock connector links, which are sold individually, on 10-speed bicycle chains and as original equipment on some bicycles. The recalled PowerLock connector links are identified by a date code of M or N, which is located on the side of the PowerLock connector link. 10-speed SRAM chains that were equipped with recalled PowerLock connector links include the following chain model numbers: PC-1030, PC-1050, PC-1070, PC-1090 and PC-1090R. The recalled chains were also installed on some Guru, Surly, Salsa, BMC, Serotta, Seven, and Ridley brand complete bicycles. The individual PowerLock connectors and bike chains with these connectors were sold from January 2009 through August 2009; bicycles with affected chains were sold from April 2009 through August 2009.

The recalled 60-watt B10 medium base light bulbs were sold in packages of two or four units. The bulbs are clear. Some were packaged as "Ceiling Fan" and "Double Life" light bulbs. "SYLVANIA" is printed on the front of the packaging and on the bulb base. The bulbs involved have a UPC bar code on the back of the package, ending in the following five digits: 13323, 13329, 13333, 13442, 13445, 13454, 13565, 13650, and 13721.

Announce Recall of Bicycle Chains WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), SRAM Corp., of Chicago, Ill., is recalling about 25,000 Sachs bicycle chains. The chains can break, causing the rider to lose control of the bicycle, fall and be injured. SRAM Corp. has received nine reports of chains breaking resulting in two minor injuries, which occurred in the United Kingdom. The recalled chains are Sachs Power Chains (PC chains) with model numbers PC-41, PC-51, PC-61, PC-80R and PC-91, and are stamped with the date code "F." The model number and date code are stamped on each link of the chain, though are difficult to see. Consumers should have their chains inspected at a local bicycle dealer to determine if they are afffected by this recall. These chains were sold as part of various 1998 model Giant, Schwinn and Specialized Bicycles. Chains also were sold separately during this period through dealers for about $15 to $45. Consumers should stop using the bicycles which might be equipped with these chains immediately, and arrange to have a free inspection of their chain by a local bicycle dealer. Bicycles with recalled chains will have their chains replaced free of charge. For the location of the nearest dealer, consumers should call SRAM at (888) 588-8140 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CDT Monday through Friday.
