Reason for Recall
As stated by CPSC
This recall involves Louis Garneau P-09 aerodynamic bicycle helmets with model number 1405362. The helmets are shaped like tear drops with a rounded front and a short, tapered tail. The outer shells of the helmets are made of polycarbonate and have a built-in visor system, dimples on the top like those on a golf ball, a small rectangular vent in the front and a triangular vent in the rear. The helmets came in three color schemes: black with red and white designs, white with blue and gray designs, and white with silver and white designs. The word "Garneau" is located on both sides of the helmet and the Louis Garneau logo is on the front under the vent. Recalled helmets have the manufacture date "Jan. 2014" on a sticker inside the helmet.
