Crane Carrier Company is recalling certain 2020 CRANE LET2 vehicles due to exterior lighting:tail lights:switch issues. Jammed electrical contacts in the brake light switch can cause the brake lights to remain illuminated, or fail to illuminate. Either of these scenario.

Reason for Recall
As stated by NHTSA
Crane Carrier Company (Crane Carrier) is recalling certain 2020-2021 LET2 vehicles equipped with certain SL-4 Brake Light Pressure switches. When air pressure is supplied to the brake light switch it may leak, possibly causing the internal electrical contacts to become jammed.
Reported concern (NHTSA)
Jammed electrical contacts in the brake light switch can cause the brake lights to remain illuminated, or fail to illuminate. Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
Recommended Action
Per NHTSA guidance
Crane Carrier will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the brake light switch manufacturing date, and replace it if necessary, free of charge. The recall began on March 25, 2021. Owners may contact Crane Carrier customer service at 1-877-546-2537.
