Reason for Recall
As stated by CPSC
The recalled power supplies are used with notification appliance circuits that provide an audible, visual, or audio-visual combination notification to building occupants in the event of a fire. Only power supplies with a date code of 4602 or lower are included in this recall.
Reported concern (CPSC)
Fire-Lite models FCPS-24FS6 and FCPS-24FS8, and Notifier models FCPS-24S6 and FCPS-24S8 can have incomplete solder connections. The Notifier model ACPS-2406 can have an improper circuit response with low input voltage. Both of these conditions may result in a building alarm system not functioning properly.
