Reason for Recall
As stated by NHTSA
First Light Safety Products (First Light) is recalling all Illuminated School Bus Stop Signs sold for IC CE, Thomas Built Bus Saf-T Liner C2 and Blue Bird Vision buses sold between April 1, 2020 and October 23, 2020. The back plate perimeter weather seal may allow contaminants to enter, affecting the sign performance. In some cases, it can cause an electrical short, which can cause the sign to be inoperable.

Recommended Action
Per NHTSA guidance
First Light will notify owners, and dealers will replace the back plate, free of charge. The recall began December 9, 2020 Owners may contact First Light customer service at 1-866-216-2605.
