Reason for Recall
As stated by NHTSA
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Mustang Mach E vehicles. The park rod may fail to engage when the vehicle is placed in the park (P) position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 114, "Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention."

Recommended Action
Per NHTSA guidance
Dealers will replace the transmission park rod assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 3, 2025. Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25C25.
