The recall involves the rechargeable batteries with the model number CB0217 2.4 volt 1500 mAh NiMH. Only batteries with date code 0809 are affected by this recall. The date code can be found on the back of the battery. The batteries were sold as replacement batteries for the following phones: AT&T 2401 2462 5840 E2562 Motorola BY03L MD60 MD671 MD680 MD681 Qwest QW-2422 QW-2652 V-Tech 2420 2422
