As stated by NHTSA
Spartan Fire, LLC (Spartan Fire) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Spartan Fire S-180 Pumper Fire Apparatus, Smeal Aerial Fire Apparatus, Smeal Pumper Fire Apparatus, and Spartan Fire Ladder Tower Aerial Fire Apparatus trucks. In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware in the vehicle multiplex system may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.
