Reason for Recall
As stated by NHTSA
Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain model year 2007-2013 TLM37, TLM40, TLM41, and TLM50 aerial devices manufactured March 29, 2007, to January 31, 2013. The aerial devices have the pedestal attached to the lift turrets that may crack due to missing reinforcements.

Cracks, if not repaired, may result in the failure of the aerial pedestal, increasing the risk of injury to the operator or those nearby.
Recommended Action
Per NHTSA guidance
Terex will notify owners, and dealers will install reinforcement plates on the pedestal, free of charge. The recall began on April 22, 2016. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-982-8975. Terex's number for this recall is SN622.
