Reason for Recall
As stated by CPSC
The watches are made of clear plastic with white snaps. The watch bands have clear glitter-filled liquid and colored liquid inside including pink, blue, red and yellow. The watch face is digital and measures about two inches in width. "Water Watch" and "Almar Sales Company" is printed on the original clear bubble packaging of the watches.
Reported concern (CPSC)
The band on the watch contains liquid petroleum distillates. If punctured, the watch band could leak. Petroleum distillates could be harmful if ingested and cause irritation to the skin or eyes on contact.
