CA Dept of Pesticides tested Cactus pads and found pesticides Monocrotophos at 0.581 ppm, Carbendazim as Thiophanate Methyl at 0.510 ppm and Captan (THPI) at 0.313 ppm. There is no tolerance for these pesticides in the US.
Lack of Assurance of Sterility: The Mentholatum Company has recalled Rohto Arctic, Rohto Ice, Rohto Hydra, Rohto Relief and Rohto Cool eye drops, due to concerns related to the quality assurance of sterility controls.
Presence of Foreign Tablets: A product complaint was received by a pharmacist who discovered an Atorvastatin 20 mg tablet inside a sealed bottle of 90-count Atorvastatin 10 mg.
It was discovered that the specification used by the supplier was incorrect and therefore the ingredient statement was incorrect and did not include unbleached wheat flour and bulgur wheat. The packaging does note that the products are packaged in a facility that also processes tree nuts, peanuts, milk, wheat, egg and soy.
