Magnum Trail Boss ATP ATVs (Polaris) – Model Year Defect (2003)

The recall involves the Polaris model year 2003 and 2004 Magnum 330 4x4 and Magnum 330 Mossy Oak ATVs and model year 2004 Magnum 330 2x4, Trail Boss 330, ATP 330, and ATP 500 ATVs. The recalled ATVs have the following model numbers, which can be found on the certification decal located on the front center body panel: A03CD32(AA)(AC), A04CD32(AA)(AB)(AC), A04CB32(AA)(FC), A04CA32(AA)(AB), A04JD32AA, and A04JD50(AA)(AB)(CA). The name "Polaris" is prominently displayed on the right and left side of the seat and/or on the side body panels.

This recall involves Raptor 1000M off-road utility vehicles. The two-wheel drive vehicles have two seats and a back bed. "Raptor" is printed in black under the vehicles gas cap. Only two wheel drive vehicles with transaxle manufactured between April 12, 2001 and July 31, 2003 are included in this recall.

Honda Harmony Lawnmowers – Model Number Defect (2003)

Laceration Risk

These are Honda Harmony 21-inch, walk-behind mowers with model numbers HRB216TXA or HRB216HXA. The model numbers are located on a metal plate behind the engine, just in front of the rear discharge opening. These black and red mowers have "Honda Harmony" printed in white on the front.

Kawasaki Prairie ATVs – Vehicle Safety Problem (2003)

The recalled Kawasaki ATVs include both 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive versions of the Prairie 300 and 400 units, with model years between 1997 and 2000. The ATVs come in green or red and have the words, "Kawasaki" and "Prairie" printed on each side of the vehicle, "300" or "400" printed on the left side, and "4x4" printed on the side of the seat (for the 4-wheel drive models only).

Park Tool Bicycle Pump – Indicator Issue (2003)

The pump is chrome and "Park Tool USA" is written in white letters on the side. Only units manufactured prior to August 2003 with a black indicator on the pressure gauge are included in the recall. Pumps with blue indicators on the pressure gauge that are manufactured after August 2003 are not included.

Wolf Bicycle Forks (Cervélo Cycles) – Carbon Fork Defect (2003)

The recall involves "Wolf" all-carbon road bike forks with a 1-inch diameter threadless steer tube. The bicycle forks were sold with 2003 model Soloist Team and Super Prodigy bicycles and framesets. A 17cm "Cervélo" logo is printed in white outlined letters on both fork legs.

Originally issued June 2003, Revised November 2, 2007 Alert #00-501 Note: Telephone number change. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and other applicable Federal Authorities, Bombardier Recreational Products and Bombardier Motor Corporation of America are conducting a voluntary safety recall of certain 2000 model year DS 650 ATV model 7404. The firm reported a potential problem with the balljoint circlip, which could cause the ATV wheels to become unstable resulting in serious personal injury. Chainsaws (Homelite) - Operational Safety Issue (2003)

These Homelite brand chainsaws have model number UT10946 and manufacture dates of 11-02 (November 2002) or 12-02 (December 2002). The model numbers and manufacture dates are printed on the lower corners of a black data label located on back side of the chainsaw's engine housing, opposite the on/off trigger. They have a red housing with black trim and are sold in a rectangular black plastic case.

BMX Bicycles (Next/Vertical Street) – safety defect (2003)

The recall includes two models of 20-inch BMX bicycles. The Next Voltage model bicycles are metallic green, have model number 8535-99 and were manufactured between March 2002 and June 2002. The Vertical Street Blade model bicycles are dark blue and chrome colored, have model number 8527-99 and were manufactured between March 2002 and April 2002. The model name is written on the bicycle frame, and a label on the frame near the crank housing shows the model number and manufacture date.

The Five 40 helmets are black, white or red, and have the name "Five 40" printed on the front and back of the helmet. The "V" in the "Five" is much larger than the other letters. A label inside the helmet reads "990803" along with the model name "540."

The recalled engines are 27-horsepower, liquid-cooled, overhead-valve (OHV), V-twin models with electric start and horizontal output shafts.
