Star ME-1 Dry Fire Sprinklers - Installation Defect (2003)

SCM's Star ME-1 sprinklers have the following information molded onto the sprinkler: the name "Star," the designation "ME-1," and the year of manufacture starting with 1983 and ending with 1995. These sprinklers were typically installed in areas of buildings where the sprinklers or water supply pipes may be subject to freezing. Examples of such areas include unheated attics, freezers and coolers, porches and parking garages. The types of facilities in which the sprinklers were installed include nursing homes, convalescent and long-term care facilities, supermarkets and other stores, warehouses, hospitals, and office buildings.

These sprinklers were typically installed in areas of buildings where the sprinklers or water supply pipes may be subject to freezing. Examples of such areas include unheated attics, freezers and coolers, porches and parking garages. Fiddlestick Instruments (Kindermusik) – safety defect (2003)

Choking Hazard

Fiddlesticks are wooden rhythm instruments designed for use in the Kindermusik classroom and at home. The recalled instrument is 7" long, 1" in diameter, and is made of wood. It is hollowed out in the middle. Steel balls are inserted into the middle of the instrument to create a shaker sound and the ends are capped with wooden plugs. They are primarily sold as part of a music instructional kit.

Fun Buckets (Playnation) – Playground Accessory Problem (2003)

This recall involves "Fun Buckets" sold as an add-on option for backyard play sets. The 14-inch-deep buckets are either yellow or green vinyl and have a black nylon strap attached to the rope. The "Fun Bucket" was sold with a heavy wood bracket to attach it to the roof of a play set fort.

Aladin Air X NitrOx Dive Computer (UWATEC AG) – Technical Issue (2003)

This recall involves Aladin Air X NitrOx dive computers manufactured in 1995. The manufacture date is located on the back of the dive computer, in the lower right hand corner. The date code reads the number of the month followed by a decimal point and the year, for example, "01.95." The dive computers are blue and black with the words "Aladin" and "NitrOx" printed across the front. Aladin Air X NitrOx dive computers with date codes other than "95" are not included in this recall.

APC Back-UPS Power Supply – Technical Issue (2003)

The recalled Back-UPS® CS Uninterruptible Power Supply devices include the Back-UPS CS350 and the Back-UPS CS 500 models. The model number can be found on the front of the unit, along with the words, "Back-UPS CS" and "APC." In addition, one of the following numbers shows up on the bar code label located on the bottom of the unit: BK350, BK500, BK500BLK. The recalled power supply devices also have one of the following serial numbers - AB0048 through AB0251, BB0104 through BB0251, and JB0125 through JB0251 - which can be found on the bottom of the unit. Units with an "R" at the end of the serial number within the above ranges are not part of this recall.

The recalled Revel B-15 subwoofers have an outer cabinet with a black or gray speaker grill on the front and are about 20 inches in width, height, and depth. The brand name "Revel" is printed on the bottom left of the rear panel and "PERFORMA B15 SUBWOOFER" is printed on the bottom right.

The recalled ceiling fans include the following models: the Islander series, with model number FP320 and date codes 01-00 through 03- 02; the Louvre series, with model number FP1320 and date codes 01-00 through 03-02; and the Tropicana series, with the model number FP1600 and date codes 12-01 through 04-02. The model number and date codes can be found on the manufacturer's sticker, located just above the motor of the fan.

These model number 4000 Showtime Rotisseries, manufactured in October 1999, have a serial number beginning with ST-AAKa, located on the back, near the bottom of the units. "Ronco Showtime BBQ" is written on the front glass and the model number is printed on the back.

Barstools (LPK International) – Wood Finish Design (2002)

This recall includes 24- inch and 29-inch high, natural wood finish barstools with round seats. The barstools have model numbers 74150 (24-inch) and 75151 (29-inch). The model numbers are printed on a sticker on the underside of the barstool's seat. A circular stamp on the underside of the seat reads, "H.L." and "NOV 2001." They were assembled in the United States.

Arctic Cat ATVs – Red Green Models (2002)

The recalled 2002 model ATVs are either red or green. They have the brand name "Arctic Cat" written on both sides of the vehicle. The recall includes the following ATV model names: 250, 300, 300 Massey Ferguson, 375, 400, 400i, 500, TBX 500 and 500i. The model name is located on the front of the ATVs, just below the speedometer. The 13-digit model number is included in the registration materials received at the time of purchase.
