Toy and children's product recalls for choking hazards, lead paint, and other safety issues. Check if your child's toys are affected.
The recalled Polly Pocket play sets contain plastic dolls and accessories that have small magnets. The magnets measure 1/8 inch in diameter and are embedded in the hands and feet of some dolls, and in the plastic clothing, hairpieces and other accessories to help the pieces attach to the doll or to the doll's house. The model number is printed on the bottom of the largest pieces on some of the play sets. Products manufactured after November 1, 2006 and are currently on store shelves are not included in this recall. Contact Mattel if you cannot find a model number on your product to determine if it is part of the recall.
The recalled Batman™ toys include: The Batman™ Magna Battle Armor™ Batman™ figure with model number J1944, The Batman™ Magna Fight Wing™ Batman™ figure with model number J1946, The Batman™ Secret ID™ figure with model number J5114, and The Batman™ Flying Fox™ figure with model number J5115. The seven-inch-tall action figures include the Batman logo on the front and include magnetic accessories. The model number is located on the lower right corner of the tag which is sewn to the figure. The recalled One Piece™ toy is: One Piece™ Triple Slash Zolo Roronoa™ figure with model number J4142. The 5 ½ inch tall action figure has green hair, black pants, and has magnets in his hands, which connect to magnets on various swords that the figure can hold. The model number is printed on the back of the action figure's left leg.
The recall involves Barbie and Tanner™ play sets -- model numbers J9472 and J9560. The toys include a "scooper" accessory with a magnetic end. Recalled scoopers have a visible, silver-colored, disc-shaped magnet on the end of the scooper. Scoopers with a white material covering the magnet and products manufactured after January 31, 2007 are not recalled.
The Fairy Doll toy was sold as an accessory with the purchase of a Unicorn Animal Sleeping Bag. The stuffed fairy doll has a sewn-on pompom nose, a pink satin dress with glitter netting as a ruffled collar, sleeves and dress apron. The doll attaches to the sleeping bag with a hook/loop attachment on the bag and between the doll's wings. The fairy doll is one of three toys that attach to the sleeping bag. Also included are a large unicorn pillow and small flat unicorn. The unicorn attachments are not included in the recall.
The recalled involves various figures and toys that were manufactured between April 19, 2007 and July 6, 2007 and were sold alone or as part of sets. The toys may have a date code between 109-7LF and 187-7LF marked on the product or packaging.
This recall involves toy sets with various action figures, dinosaurs, animals and vehicles. The style number, Universal Product Code and Soldier Bear logo are printed on the product's packaging. The recalled toy castles have counting beads, four play figures and several different shapes and letters that fit into holes in the castle. "infantino®" is printed in the lower right-hand corner of the side with the letters. The recall only includes castles with the following date codes: 5349, 6087, 6132 and 0906. Castles with other date codes, no date code or with a plastic rod attached with a metal screw are not included in this recall. The date code is stamped on the underside of the blue top and can be viewed through the top square shape or top "A" letter openings.
This recall involves the Play Wonder Barbeque Grill. The grill is metal and has an orange metal base and top, along with stainless steel legs and a removable circular ash tray. The grill set also includes tongs and a spatula. The "Play Wonder" logo is located on the lower right corner of the packaging.
The recalled jackets were sold in infant, toddler and youth sizes. They are navy-colored and long-sleeved. They have a zipper-front with the flag of England embroidered on the left shoulder and an "England" patch on the left chest. There are two zipper front pockets in addition to the zipper front. "Pine Peak Blues" is printed on a label inside the jacket.
The recall involves wooden vehicles, buildings and other train set components for young children listed in the chart below. The front of the packaging has the logo "Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway" on the upper left-hand corner. A manufacturing code may be located on the bottom of the product or inside the battery cover. Toys marked with codes containing "WJ" or "AZ" are not included in this recall. The paper party hats involved in this recall measure 6.5 inches high by 4.5 inches wide and are cone shaped. The blue paper hats have "1st" printed on the front and blue foil fringe glued to the bottom.
Some of the recalled necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and charms are metallic, multi-colored, and have "High School Musical" or pictures of "High School Musical" actors printed on them. Others have frogs, hearts, stars, dogs with dog bones, flowers, and monkeys that hang from silver, black or brown chains or cords.
This recall involves toy sets with multiple action figures and vehicles. The model number (88931), Universal Product Code (6 98567 88931 4) and Soldier Bear logo are printed on the product's packaging. The backs of the action figures are marked with letters "TC-ST."
The recall involves three different types of toys. The ball rattle is a multi-colored, 3-inch ball with oval openings and a small hexagon opening at each end. The wrist rattle toy is a white plastic wristband toy with six multi-colored balls with small bells inside. The wind-up toy is a 7.5-inch pink giraffe with yellow legs and a green wind-up knob below the tail of the giraffe.
This recall involves Discovery Bunny yellow cloth books. The mid-section of the yellow and white plush stuffed bunny opens to a six-page cloth book. The plush bunny has black & white checkered ears and feet. The "SoftPlay" logo is printed on a tag sewn into the bunny toy.
The recalled jewelry includes pendants that hang from silver-colored bracelet and necklace chains, and silver-colored rings with a charm on top. Charm shapes include silver-colored crosses, suns, moons, stars, butterflies, cupids, angels, keys, elephants, hands, cell phones, fish, and shoes.
The silver-colored rings have a round turquoise-colored stone on top. The stone is surrounded by a band of small silver-colored balls.
The toy cell phone plays different songs, sound effects and user recorded messages. They were sold in polka dot, swirl, floral and stripe patterns, and the Parents® logo is visible inside the flip-top and on the battery compartment cover. Only items bearing date codes 090106 through 101206 are involved in this recall. The date code can be located on the bottom of the product packaging and in the battery compartment.
The recalled rings are silver with either dice or horseshoes on top. The numbers on some of the dice are painted in various colors, others are not painted. The horseshoes have either pink and green or purple and yellow painted polka dots.
This recall involves Airwalk® Compel clog shoes sold in prewalk sizes 3 through toddler size 10. The flexible shoes have air ventilation holes on the top and side and plastic rivets with the Airwalk® logo attached to the strap. Airwalk® and the shoe size are printed on the sole of the shoe. No other sizes, styles or models are included in this recall.
