Toy and children's product recalls for choking hazards, lead paint, and other safety issues. Check if your child's toys are affected.
The children's rings are silver or gold-colored with designs or stones in a variety of colors. The rings come four to a package. "Kidz by Rachael Rose," "Family Dollar $1" and "SKU 1905580" are printed on the packaging.
All types of MagneBlocks™ construction sets are included in this recall. The sets contain six or more plastic building pieces and six or more 1/2-inch diameter steel balls. Some sets include steel rods. The building pieces are various colors and are shaped in 1 1/2-inch cubes and three-, four-, and five-sided pyramids. The plastic building pieces have "MagneBlocks™" imprinted on them.
The recalled necklaces have pendants shaped as butterflies that are painted in various colors. The pendants hang from a black cord. The necklace's package is blue cardboard with images of flowers and butterflies and the words "Butterfly Necklace" printed on the front and "Item#JA298" on the back.
This recall involves children's fleece hooded sweatshirts, sizes 8-12. The sweatshirts were sold in black, brown, blue, red, gray, white and off-white. The words "BKLYN Xpress" and "Brooklyn Xpress" and various graphic designs are embroidered on the sweatshirts. A sewn-in tag has one of the following style numbers: BXFL72B, BXFL73B, BXFL74B, BXFL75B, BXFL77B or BXFL80B. This recall only involves sweatshirts in sizes 8 to 12.
The gift sets include a decorated ceramic mug and a stuffed Santa, snowman, or reindeer. The stuffed characters measure 7 inches tall and are made of fleece-like material. Two red and green buttons are sewn down the front of the characters. "©DanDee™ COLLECTOR'S CHOICE®" and the product's UPC number are printed on the character's sewn-in labels. UPC numbers are as follows: Santa 0 47475 45419 8, Snowman 0 47475 45429 7, Reindeer 0 47475 45439 6. "Holiday Time™" is printed on the character's hang tag. The mug comes in three designs and measures 6 inches tall. The designs include a Santa with green background, a snowman with blue background, and a Christmas tree with green background.
The wrist straps are sold with Nintendo's Wii video game system (pronounced "we"). Its controller, called the Wii Remote, is shaped like a TV remote. Sensors determine the Wii Remote's position in 3-D space, which means that a tennis swing, for example, is done through movement of a consumer's hand rather than by just fingers and thumbs. The cords on the wrist straps included in this program are 0.6 mm in diameter. The replacement cords are 1.0 mm in diameter (see photo).
The recalled necklaces are silver-colored with multi-colored pendants shaped as butterflies. The pendant hangs from a silver-colored chain. The necklaces' packaging is pink and purple cardboard with "Butterfly Necklace" printed on the front and "Item #JA442" on the back.
The recalled necklaces are multi-colored metal pendants that hang from a black cord. The pendants are in the shape of the head of one of three "Powerpuff Girls" cartoon characters. The packaging consists of purple cardboard with the three Powerpuff Girls cartoon characters and the words "CARTOON NETWORK" and "THE POWERPUFF GIRLS" printed on both sides.
This recall involves the "Ellis" children's boots sold in pre-walk and toddler sizes 3 through 9. The boots are black with white stitching and were sold with either leather or faux fur lining. "See Kai Run" is written on the sole and insole of the boots. . "Ellis - FF" or "Ellis - L" is written on the side of the shoe box under the Style heading. No other styles or models are included in this recall.
The recalled Mood Necklaces are multi-colored pendants shaped as hearts, moons, shamrocks, spiders, butterflies and lizards that hang from a black chord. The packaging is a black cardboard wrapped in plastic with "Mood Necklace" printed on the front and "Item # JW41001" and "UPC number 898846410011" printed on a sticker on the back. The recalled Diva Necklaces consist of pendants shaped as the words "ANGEL" or "Diva" that hang from a black chord. The packaging is pink cardboard with "Hand Painted" and "Diva Necklace" printed on the front, and "Item # 21800020" and "UPC number 898846200186" printed on the back.
The jackets come in seven color combinations: black with a gray stripe along the sleeves, light blue with a black stripe along the sleeves, gray with a black stripe along the sleeves, navy blue with a gray stripe along the sleeves, yellow with a gray stripe along the sleeves and navy blue with a white stripe across the chest, and black with a white stripe across the chest. The jacket's zipper goes all the way up to create a mock turtleneck. The removable hood attaches with a zipper and has a drawstring. There is elastic at the sleeves, side pockets, and a drawstring at the waist.
The recalled Polly Pocket play sets contain plastic dolls and accessories that have small magnets. The magnets measure 1/8 inch in diameter and are imbedded in the hands and feet of some dolls, and in the plastic clothing, hair pieces and other accessories to help the pieces attach to the doll or to the doll's house. The model number is printed on the bottom of the largest pieces on some of the play sets. Contact Mattel if you cannot find a model number on your product to determine if it is part of the recall. Polly Pocket magnetic play sets currently on store shelves are not included in this recall. This recall involves a "Play Wonder" brand puzzle table that contains three nine-piece wooden puzzles inside the table. They are light blue with paw prints painted across the top of the table. The table is about 13 inches high when assembled and has green sides. The "Play Wonder" logo is located in the front lower right corner of the packaging. Item number 204/12/0162 is located in the front upper right corner of the packaging.
The recall involves "Kool Toyz" brand toys, including sets containing die-cast cars, playground set, doll house set, dinosaurs, trucks, boats and planes. The packaging is primary blue and has the "Kool Toyz" logo is on the upper left corner of the packaging. The wooden toy storage box is decorated with graphics from the animated movie "Cars." It has three removable cloth toy bins. "Delta" and the PO# are printed on the side panel. Only toy boxes with "PO#FJ505192" or "PO#FJ605042" marked on the side panel are included in this recall.
Shake 'n Jingle Keys, "Shake & Jingle Keys," "My Jingle Keys" all by The First Years and the John Deere "Real Keys" are toy keys, with three colored keys attached to a blue, red or green remote control with electronic features. Various colored buttons on the remote activate sounds. Only toy keys with the letter "F" in the date code stamp on the packaging and product are involved in the recall. The date code can be found on the back of the remote control. Toy keys with "TE" in the date code or yellow sides on the remote are not included in this recall.
The Team Talkin' Tool Bench™ is a 20-inch-tall plastic toy tool bench with an animated red toy saw, a yellow toy drill and a blue toy vice. The toy talks and makes various sound effects, including tool sounds. The product also includes a toy hammer, screwdriver, two 2¼-inch plastic screws, two 3-inch plastic nails and pieces to build a small toy plane. The red Playskool logo is on the front of the brown surface of the tool bench.
The recalled hoodie style zip front hooded sweatshirts were sold in four youth sizes S (7-8), M (9-12), L (14) and XL (16.) The sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hood and were available in two colors, Blue Bell and Demitasse. A tag sewn on the inside of the garment reads "Candie's."
LEGO EXPLORE Super Truck is a toy-in-toy product designed for children ages 18 months and up. The toy features a red plastic pick-up/dump truck that measures about 15 inches high and 19 inches wide with four 7-inch black plastic wheels that are packed with a box of 40 LEGO DUPLO bricks in the cargo area. The unit has a row of DUPLO "studs" across the top of the cab, molded yellow headlights and stickers on the front and sides of the unit create the idea of a windshield, windows and doors depicting a LEGO figure in the driver's seat. The LEGO Explore logo is printed on the door stickers. The box of DUPLO bricks is not included in this recall.
The recalled bathrobes are made of 100 percent cotton terrycloth. The bathrobes were sold in several color combinations, including: white with pink pockets and a green collar; dark blue with yellow pockets and an orange collar; and light pink with a hood with pig ears, eyes, and nose. The recalled robes were infant and toddler sizes. A label on the inside of the garment reads, "Que Cute."
