Only Sony VAIO notebook computers with model numbers PCG-FRV25 or PCG-FRV27 sold from June through July 2003 are part of the recall. These computers will have slow modem speeds, generally below 24K, while using the notebook's AC adapter. Consumers unsure of their modem speed can check it at the Sony PC support Web site: www.sony.com/pcsupport. Sony previously announced this recall on July 10, 2003
The Eddie Bauer lantern, sold exclusively at Target stores, is ocean blue with two mantles. It has a glass globe, electronic ignition, and an extra-large hood and handle. When assembled, the lantern sits on a plastic base that houses the propane fuel cylinder. The "Eddie Bauer" name appears on the front of the product on an oval panel immediately below a black on/off switch. The Wenzel Company produces the lantern under license with Eddie Bauer.
The batteries were provided in pairs. Each is a 3-volt lithium battery with a white label. The name "Fuji Power" or "A&T Fuji Power CR123A" is on the label.
These dual-motor, 36-inch ceiling fans were sold in chrome, stone white, brush nickel, polished brass, antique brass, or weathered patina finishes. Model number 355-6645 is printed on a label located on the central housing of the ceiling fan. The brand name of the fan, "Aire Tek" is written on the packaging only.
The recalled Home Line bunk beds include the following models and styles: S130 (black), S131 (white), S132 (red), and S133 (blue) have a single top mattress and a double width bottom mattress; S135 (black) and S136 (white) that have a single top and a single bottom mattress; and S116 (black) and S117 (white) that have a single top mattress and a bottom mattress that also converts into a couch. Some units are labeled with the "Home Line" name and the model numbers on the top front railing.
The recalled units are the Blason Turbo Style model 4030 electric hand-held hair dryers without an immersion protection device. These units have a pistol-style grip and a black plastic casing with a two-prong power cord labeled, in part, "Blason Turbo Style Mod. 4030. 110V/60HZ/1500W."
The recalled grills have a stainless steel construction and have the name Member's Mark® on the front control panel. The grill has four caster wheels, a side shelf, and a side burner. Only units with model number Y0005XC-2 are included in the recall. The model number can be located on a silver ID tag on the back of the grill head.
These low-pressure regulators control petroleum gas pressure in gas grills. The regulators are used with Char-Broil®, Kenmore® and Thermos® brand gas grills. There are two model gas regulators involved in the recall. Model 451 is a single outlet regulator used on grills with traditional burners in the main box. Model 452 is a dual outlet regulator used on grills with a side burner adjacent to the main box. The regulators have date codes printed on the valve body. Date codes included in the recall are 13-03/03-13, 14-03/03-14, 15-03/03-15, 16-03/03-16, 17-03/03-17 and 18-03/03-18. Each melting pot gift set is packaged in a heart-shaped paperboard gift box with a ceramic melting pot (simmer pot), four individually wrapped scented wax melters of various scents, and six tea light candles that have "Lang" printed on the top. The gift sets diffuse aroma by liquefying the scented wax melter on top of the melting pot through the use of a tea light candle placed in the bottom of the melter. The gift sets were sold in nine different themes/styles printed on the exterior of the gift box lid and melting pot. The name of the theme and its respective "Part Number" are printed on the label affixed to the underside of the gift box: Warm Your Heart 0614001, Above the Fruited Plains 0614002, Noel Rose 0614003, Holiday Bounty 0614004, All Decked Out 0614005, Stars Stars Stars 0614006, Herb Garden 0614007, Home and Heart 0614008, and Frances' Garden 0614009.
Only "Pack 'n Play" portable play yards with raised changing tables are part of this recall. They also are sold with an infant bassinet. "GRACO" and "Pack 'n Play" are written on the side of the play yard. These play yards have model numbers 2016, 35235, or model numbers that begin with 9531 or 9533. The last three digits of the model number will vary. The model number can be found on a label on the white plastic center cone under the play yards. "MADE IN CHINA" also is written on the bottom label. Models 2016, 35235, 9531 and 9533 that are currently sold at retail and that have green stickers on the boxes, indicating that the unit has been modified, are not recalled.
The pacifiers are available in both silicone and latex formulations, in the following colors: powder blue, red, purple, and pink. The name "Kroger" appears on the package, along with the words "Pacifiers," "Latex," "Silicone," "0-6 months," or "6-18 months." The model numbers are located on the back of each package and are the last five digits of the UPC code: 35826 35827 35828 35829
The heavy-cardboard book has "Whose Birthday Is It?" printed on the cover in yellow letters. Dora the Explorer cartoon characters are pictured on each page. A cutout in the top left corner of book has a small plastic replica of a balloon attached. The yellow and orange balloon is used as a slide to reveal answers to questions in the book.
Bottled water with the affected push-pull sports caps was sold under the brand names Dannon Fluoride to Go, Pure American, Enon Springs, Alhambra Junior Sport Drinking Water and Sparkletts Junior Sport Drinking Water. The bottled water was sold as singles and multi- packs in 8-oz., 8.5-oz., and .33-liter sizes.
The recalled units are labeled "OnQ" and "1x8 ENHANCED TELECOM w/SURGE." The devices are professionally installed as part of a telephone line-sharing system in homes. One of the slots on the device is labeled, "SECURITY." The security line should get priority in an emergency. Part number 364551-01, written on the product label, and a date code (DC) of "2303" (meaning the 23rd week of 2003) or earlier are included in the recall. The date code is located on the edge of the device, above the mounting tabs.
The necklaces consist of a 10-inch black cord with a 7/8- inch-diameter gray metal pendant. The metal pendant has assorted symbols on one side.
The Summit Gas Grills are stainless steel and have model numbers 5210001, 5310001, 5220001, 5320001, 5230001, 5330001, 5260001, 5360001, 5270001, 5370001, 5290001, and 5390001, with serial numbers beginning with the letters DT. The model and serial number is located on the outside right panel of the storage cart. The Summit grills are sold as either a four-burner Silver series or six-burner Gold series. The private labeled Vieluxe Gas Grills have model numbers 360201, 360102, 370201, 370102 and 370299, with serial numbers beginning with the letters DA, DU, and DT. The model and serial number is located inside of the side access door on the right side of the grill. The grills are sold as either a four-burner 44-inch model or a six-burner 56-inch model, are made of high-grade stainless steel, and are equipped with a rear-mounted infrared burner and rotisserie device. Weber grills with a brand name other than Vieluxe or Summit are not included in this recall.
The recalled "Sandy Claws" Swim Trainer is a red-and-yellow-colored fabric crab with eight stuffed legs and two eyes covering a styrofoam buoyancy float. Black straps are attached to the side seams to fasten around a child. Printed on the underside of the crab float are the words, "Swim Ways" and "CAUTION: This is not a lifesaving device. Do not leave child unattended while in use."
The recalled baby walkers are made with a plastic frame supported by six or eight wheels on the bottom. The walkers are blue, pink or bright green, with a padded seat and an activity tray. "SUN KIDS" or "HAPPY BABY" labels appear on some of the walkers.
These lamps are oval glass bottles with purple or pink dots. They are filled with blue or pink liquid paraffin. The lamps were sold with bunny-shaped tags identifying them as "hoppy go lucky" oil lamps. Item number 054-03-1843 or 054-03-1844 is printed on the tag. Some of the lamps were sold with round metal disks meant to prevent the lamps from tipping.
These fire escape hoods are sold as "Plus 10® Filter Breathing Unit." The hoods are sealed inside foil bags with blue and white labels on them listing the product name and reading, in part, "It's not just ten minutes of air. It's a lifetime." The foil bags are stored inside blue zippered nylon pouches.
