Electronic device and appliance recalls including batteries, chargers, heaters, and kitchen appliances. Fire and shock hazard alerts.
This recall includes 9.6-volt, 10.8-volt, 12-volt, 14.4-volt and 18-volt Wagner drill charger bases. The drills were sold in black and gray and have the name "Wagner" printed on them. Model numbers involved in the recall are: W96DK, W108DK, W120DK, WB96, WB120, WB144, and WB180K. The model numbers are located on a label on the side of the drill.
The recalled security camera is an indoor video camera mounted on the wall or ceiling. The camera is covered with a smoked plastic dome measuring about 6 inches in diameter. A mechanism to move the camera and a mounting assembly are also part of the product. The recalled security cameras have these part numbers: AD5RCPP16 AD5GCMPP18 AD5GCPP18 AD5GCPP22 The cameras also have serial numbers within these ranges: G01 (January 2002) to G12 (December 2002) H01 (January 2002) to H08 (August 2003). The serial numbers are located inside the product, on a white label attached to the side of the camera mounting.
The recalled Solis model hair dryers include the following model numbers: 311, 340, 401, 405, 407, 407T, 411, and 415. The model name and number can be found either on the handle, the underside of the barrel or under the filter. The recalled units, which come in black and blue, do not have an immersion protection device at the end of the plug.
The recalled batteries are included in Kyocera model 7135 Smartphone cell phones. The black and silver flip-up phones say "Kyocera" at the top of the screen. The recalled batteries have the red and white Kyocera name printed on the front and a product code ending with -05 printed on the underside
These are 25-foot Durex Procraft outdoor extension cords. These green cords are sold in blue and black packaging. An Underwriters Laboratories' label is attached to the cord showing code "E-174825." The item UPC number is 0 74972 01025 1, and is located on the back of the package in the lower right-hand corner.
These blue and gray electric pressure washers are labeled "Strategy 1500 PSI Powerwasher" and were sold as QVC item number V16257.
The mini-flashlights were provided to consumers as a free gift with the purchase of Aim n' Flame II multi-purpose lighters. The black, plastic flashlight is about 5-1/4 inches long with a thin red ring around the barrel. There is no safety issue relating to the multi-purpose lighter and it is not the subject of this voluntary recall.
Showerhead heaters involved in the recall include model numbers 194310 and 192033. The model numbers are printed on the front of the unit. The heaters are packaged in a clear plastic bag with card, or in a printed box that reads, in part, "Sintex Super Ducha," "Sintex Electronic," and "Made in Brazil."
These are "Cherry Bentwood" model television stands. The three-tier stands are made from mahogany wood and have curved glass ends. They are 30 inches high and 45 inches wide, and sold for use with televisions up to 36 inches in diameter. Model number PTT 22018 is written on the packaging and instructions. There is no writing on the stands themselves.
This recall involves GPS2000 MobilePAL+GPS units with serial numbers between 08810948 and 08813447, which can be found on a label in the battery compartment. They are white phones with a red "call" button and a gray "test" button that notifies an emergency call center and can track callers using the Global Positioning System (GPS). "MobilePal+GPS" is written on the front of the phones.
The recalled curling iron package reads "Duet 2-in-1 Hair Styler with 1-1/2 inch barrel." Two model numbers are involved: 5266-500 (sold in a plastic package) and 5266-500B (sold in a box). The curling irons have a gold and silver handle with gold barrel and silver clamp. The words "Wahl" and "Duet" are on the handle of the curling iron.
The walk-behind lawn mowers are gas-powered and have an orange body with a black push-handle. They are capable of being operated with or without a bag attachment. The model number and serial number can be found on a decal mounted above the left rear wheel axle.
The recalled back-up power supply systems include the Energizer-brand UPS Model ER-PRO1000, which can be identified by a label on the back of the device. The black, breadbox-like unit is about 14 inches deep, 6 inches wide, 8 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds. The words, "Energizer" and "energizerups.com" appear on the front of the unit.
This recall involves all Segway HT i167 ("i Series") models sold to consumers. In addition, Segway LLC is including all e167 ("e Series") and i167 models sold to commercial users, and all p133 ("p Series") models sold to consumers in test markets.
Only Sony VAIO notebook computers with model numbers PCG-FRV25 or PCG-FRV27 sold from June through July 2003 are part of the recall. These computers will have slow modem speeds, generally below 24K, while using the notebook's AC adapter. Consumers unsure of their modem speed can check it at the Sony PC support Web site: www.sony.com/pcsupport. Sony previously announced this recall on July 10, 2003
The recalled units are the Blason Turbo Style model 4030 electric hand-held hair dryers without an immersion protection device. These units have a pistol-style grip and a black plastic casing with a two-prong power cord labeled, in part, "Blason Turbo Style Mod. 4030. 110V/60HZ/1500W."
The recalled IBM monitors include the G51 CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) and G51t Touch Screen CRT models. The G51 and G51t monitors have the following model numbers on a label on the back of the unit: 6541-02N, 6541-02E, 6541-02S, 6541-Q0N, 6541-Q0E, and 6541-Q0S. The label on the back of the recalled G51 models also has a date of manufacture between June 1997 and September 1998. The "IBM" logo can be found on the front of the units, which were manufactured in China, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.
The heaters have a 6-inch heat reflector and operate with a disposable 16.4-ounce or 14.1-ounce propane tank, sold separately. The product has a chrome neck, a black "on/off" switch, and a black plastic base that houses the propane cylinder.
The recall includes all Hayward H-Series ED2 natural-draft pool heaters with model numbers: H150ED2 H250PED2 H350PED2 H150PED2 H250PEDH2 H400ED2 H200ED2 H300ED2 H400PED2 H200PED2 H300PED2 H250ED2 H3503D2 A manufacturing label displaying the unit's model number and serial number is inside the unit, on the heater floor. Consumers can access the label by removing the front panel of the heater housing. The H-series ED2 Control Bezel assembly (a black box mounted behind the front control panel) encases the defective circuit board.
The recalled units are the UWATEC Smart PRO and the Smart COM dive computers. The Smart PRO is offered as a console and as a wrist unit. The Smart COM only comes in a console model. The names of each unit appear on the computer case, along with the name "UWATEC."
